onboarding training: we pride ourselves in recruiting employees that align with our mission, vision, values & company culture. All of our prospective new hires attend a KB culture class and hiring interview prior to starting in a service location. Each of our new hires are onboarded for up to 14 shifts depending on the job role that they hold. Our onboarding training includes such items as:
ongoing training: all of our KB employees receive additional training on various topics to ensure we are consistently drip messaging important information. We also offer voluntary training sessions to further the knowledge of our employees & allow them to grow within our company through our “Path to Leadership” process. KB specializes in providing the various services listed below. We strive to work with organizations to develop an all encompassing cleaning package and are always available to help in emergency situations.
day maker services: in high traffic facilities it is necessary to have a day maker (or team of day makers) present during regular business hours to maintain cleanliness and consumables in common areas, restrooms and food areas.
day or night full service janitorial: we provide custom cleaning solutions to our partners that encompass how janitorial should look for your business. We know not every building is created equal, so developing a janitorial scope of work that aligns with your company’s mission, vision, values & specific workplace population is of the upmost importance.
multi-family interior & exterior common cleaning: this service includes up-keeping the shared common area, both interior & exterior, on a specified frequency to multi-family housing buildings, campuses & neighborhoods
multi-family unit turn cleaning: we provide full cleaning to dwelling units after a renter moves out/checks out in preparation for a new renter to begin their lease. This applies to both short term rentals & long term rentals.
janitorial laborers: if you provide in-house janitorial services and need assistance on a temporary basis to cover for unstaffed positions or existing employees out on PTO, look no further than partnering with KB. We can be your back-up coverage partner to ensure no interruption in the in-house janitorial services you provide.
carpet cleaning: whether you have coffee & soda stains, or you need a robust proactive carpet cleaning program, we provide multiple carpet cleaning options via hot water extraction and/or low moisture encapsulation.
hard floor maintenance: maintaining your hard surface flooring extends the life of the floor. KB offers specific hard floor maintenance services & programs that include strip & wax, scrub & recoat, burnish, rotoscrub & seal grout.
glass cleaning: full glass cleaning, including both interior glass and exterior glass, is typically outside of the traditional full service janitorial scope of work. KB offers full glass cleaning on a specified frequency to maintain the cleanliness of your facility.
disinfection services: proactive & reactionary options available via hand wipe disinfection or electrostatic spray disinfection.
high level vacuum cleaning: ledges, exposed beams and surfaces above 10 feet can be high level vacuumed using our SpaceVac at a specified frequency.
one-time deep cleaning: traditional full service janitorial may not fit the mold for your retail, food service or industrial location. KB offers one-time deep cleaning services to those types of locations on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual basis to complete detail work that your own employees are not equipped to handle on a daily basis.
final construction cleaning: whether building a new space from the ground up, or renovating an existing building/suite, KB can complete a final construction clean prior to tenant occupancy to ensure all surfaces have been fully hand wiped down, top to bottom, and is construction dust & debris free.
facilities concierge services: assistance in managing your facility as a “helping hand” with various tactical items, such as your work orders, building visitors, deliveries, vendor communication, etc.
light maintenance services: management of light maintenance duties including but not limited to light bulbs, minor repairs, painting touch ups, hanging decor, changing filters and meeting room set up/take down.
paper supplies/consumables management: inventorying & ordering all paper supplies & consumables for the facility, including managing par levels and usage controls.

: our goal at KB is to always work in the most efficient and effective way, and SIMONServe lets us do just that. SIMONServe, which stands for Service Industry Management Optimization Network, serves KB exceptionally well by automating many of our internal processes, including the following:
SIMON also serves as our CRM, allowing us to have a centralized data management system that our customers also have access to. We communicate with our KB partners through SIMON, and collaborate with them on requests, concerns and add on services. SIMONServe allows for an improved customer experience with real-time data reporting for holding KB accountable for doing what we say we will do.

: this certification verifies that KB complies with over 170 cleaning industry management standards, including quality systems, service delivery, human resources, health/safety stewardship, management commitment and green cleaning. KB was first certified in 2014, and has been re-certified every years since. Recertification includes process change submittals, assessor visit with KB employees, accessor visit with KB customers and overall verification that we are doing what we said we are doing on a consistent basis. Less than 375 janitorial companies hold this accreditation which puts KB in the top 1% of janitorial companies in the country.
customer service: our goal is to create peace of mind in our partners lives, so that it starts with putting the needs and wants of our customers at the forefront. Our office team and next level leaders strive to over serve our customers by proactively communicating, always following up, taking action & providing solutions. We meet with our customers on a monthly or quarterly basis for a business review to maintain constant communication on our services provided, upcoming changes, ideas for efficiencies and next steps in our partnership.
quality control: we hold our employees to high level cleaning standards and we measure those successes via our quality control inspection (QCI). QCI’s are completed in each KB serviced location as a way to call out excellence in cleaning performance, and also areas of improvement throughout the building. We strive for all of our locations to maintain an exceeds rating, which is a 90% minimum quality score in all aspects of cleaning.
safety: keeping our employees safe and keeping the employees that work in our KB serviced facilities safe is non-negotiable. We put processes in place and teach and train to each of them, starting on day 1 of KB employment. We complete safety inspections at the buildings and always maintain proper SDS and other various OSHA requirements for all cleaning chemicals & equipment.

Channing is officially our President, but we like to think of her as the Commander in Chief. She is the glue that holds KB together and keeps things flowing. Channing oversees all things KB and spends a lot of her time outside of the office building relationships with potential and existing KB partners. She received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, concentration in Management, from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in May 2009. She joined KB right out of college and has been part of the KB team for fifteen years.
Throughout Channing’s time at KB she has implemented many changes. She created a new organizational chart and built the amazing company culture to what it is now. Channing enjoys working with excellent team members and building relationships. She also loves KB’s ability to grow and “play big”. Her favorite part of KB is the company culture and the world class customer service we provide. Channing is also a graduate of the Omaha Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Omaha program, Class 38, best AND most newsworthy class ever, as well as active in Girls, Inc. of Omaha.
Who Would’ve Thought?:
The name Channing actually comes from a soap opera. Aside from being a famous daytime television star, Channing is a spelling bee champion; that is she can spot a spelling error a mile away. In contrast, she will never get a license for riding a bicycle.
Zodiac Personality Check:
Channing was born a Capricorn. It comes as no surprise to see her described as: serious, determined, disciplined and focused. As a Capricorn, she loves to maintain stability and order, and is organized with a step-by-step plan for achieving all goals. Naturally, she is a businesswoman and strives to create a “perfect” society.

Autumn’s outgoing nature and positive attitude certainly make her a great asset to the Employee Relations department. In 2021, Autumn was promoted to Employee Experience Manager, which means she handles employee recruitment, field employee hiring, placing new hires in positions, and monitoring field employee retention. In addition to those duties, she also works directly with the Logistics Tech, Field Account Manager & Facilities Supervisor on clerical items, so it should be no surprise that her high level of motivation is a necessity! KB is proud of how Autumn has excelled past what was ever imagined by taking on more and more responsibilities.
She worked at Selectel in the outbound call center before being welcomed to KB in September of 2015. In fact, Autumn says her favorite thing about KB is how everyone is always welcoming.

Coordination is a talent Autumn honed at an early age. In her childhood, she visited Skateland every weekend!

Scorpio legend says what is most important to someone born on November 20 is family or those they love. That makes for two very lucky children (Autumn’s, of course) named Jose and Brian.

In late 2018, we were lucky enough to welcome Randi to the KB team. Randi comes to us from the massage therapy industry, having spent her entire career thus far helping people. She is a compassionate and fun loving person who loves being part of a team that motivates each other to make every day a great one. Randi joined KB as a Customer Concierge, where she will focused on building relationships with our partners and completing quality control walkthroughs at KB serviced facilities. In July 2023, Randi was promoted to Customer Experience Manager where she now oversees the entire Customer Relations department and also manages/oversees all KB technology. Randi is also a loving mom to her son Dax and daughter Saylor, whom she shares with Donovan, her fiancé.
Who Would’ve Thought?:
Back in her youth, Randi didn’t exactly do a great job holding herself accountable. Her mother always tells the story about how at age 3, she frequently fell while walking and immediately would place blame on her dad for pushing her, even though her dad was nowhere near her. To this day, she has no clue why she did that, but we can definitely say she is much better at taking accountability for her own actions in her adult life!
Zodiac Personality Check:
If asked, we would describe Randi as organized, self-motivated and resilient, so it came as no surprise to us that Randi is a Virgo. She is a multi-tasker that is very kind and hardworking. She pays attention to even the smallest of details and has a very big heart, which makes her a great fit for working with others.

Detail oriented and a major thirst for learning perfectly describe our Finance Controller. Tracey joined the KB team in January 2023 to lead up our newly revamped Finance Department. She comes to us with over 30 years of accounting experience, previously working as a Senior Accountant & Accounts Payable Manager at AGP. Tracey oversees all aspects of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and overall accounting functions. She works directly with our Finance Specialist.
Who Would’ve Thought?:
Tracey is much more of a daredevil than we thought. She loves bikes, both regular & motorized, and is very active in helping run a charter service that participates in the annual RAGBRAI event – the Des Moines Register’s Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa. She has been participating in this event for decades and one time while riding tandem, she was just casually using permanent markers to create a masterpiece drawing on her aunt’s back – who by the way, was steering the bike! While we at KB were surprised by her daredevil ways, her husband Ken, two kids and six grandkids know it very well.

Tracey is our only office team Aquarius and we are excited to have her. She is determined, thrives under pressure and is very analytical – all of which make her a great fit for our Finance Department. Our culture focused company is what led her to us, and her easy going personality and humanitarian nature make her fit right in.

Our Customer Relations department gained a smiley and positive face in 2024 when welcoming Madi to the team as our new Customer Concierge. Madi comes to us with years of “concierge” experience, which is a fancy way of saying someone who is always helping others and ensuring others needs are met. Madi’s role is building relationships with our gold & silver KB partners, as well as completing quality control inspections and QBR’s for those accounts.
Who Would’ve Thought?:
Madi is a kid at heart, or as we like to say, an adult with a carefree childlike mind. When she was little, she loved playing in piles of leaves and quite honestly, we can 100% see her doing that now – with or without her six year old son Stone in tow! She loves to have fun and when you encounter her, you can’t help but feed into her infectious positive attitude.

Creative, compassionate and caring describe Madi to a T, which is no surprise since she is a Pisces. Her vulnerability and optimism bring a great deal of positivity to the KB world, and her sensitive nature and thirst for learning allow her to serve our customers exceptionally well, all while growing in her knowledge and expertise as our Customer Concierge.

Amanda joined KB as a construction team member in 2021. Due to her excellent work ethic and strong supervisory skills, she was promoted and is now officially a member of the KB office team. Amanda serves as our Day Operations Supervisor. Her role is to teach, train & oversee the day makers that work in KB serviced facilities.
Who Would’ve Thought?:
A strong personality is one of the first things people say to describe Amanda, and that couldn’t be more accurate. She is easy to get along with, but definitely knows what she likes – and doesn’t like – such as a messy anything! She is overly neat by nature, so hearing her talk about her strong willed childhood of going camping and only wanting to constantly shower was zero surprise to any of us!

Amanda being born a Leo is very much on “brand” for her. She is textbook Leo! She is loyal, confident and warmhearted. She is a natural born leader with a go getter mentality. She has a great sense of humor and knows how to have fun, but takes her job very seriously and is passionate about her success.
