Powerful Beyond Measure

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure”

The above quote is an excerpt from the famous Marianne Williamson poem, A Return to Love.

Do you believe it? Is it true? Are we really afraid that we can do this? That we can make it? That we can accomplish everything that we really want to in our lives? I believe it. I think that it is so true, so much so that I had those words posted on the front reception wall at our company’s HQ. I am grateful for all the people in my life that help me realize that this is true on a regular basis. I know that I was stymied by failure, more importantly fear of failure before I realized that this was true. I wish that we would pay people, grade children, and promote leaders based off the mistakes that they have made. I know that most of my experience has come from screwing something up and then learning from it. The best examples are when I learned something new, and also learned something about myself during the process.
